After publishing this post today, I will hit 2 million points on ActiveRain. WOW, this is a big deal. When I first started blogging on AR, I never thought I would hit 100,000 or even one million points. Look at me now at 2 million points.
I started blogging here in the Rain in November 2008. It takes hard work and dedication to get to 2 million points. I stopped blogging this year for a total of 4-5 weeks, usually because I was sick or just had to step away from the computer for a while.
ActiveRain has had many changes since 2008… like new owners. So glad Ben Kinney is the new owner of AR, and Bob Stewart is back. The points system has changed drastically since 2008. It is so easy to get lots of points per month. The most points I got in a month this year was 26,775, and you could get more points than that by going to the Q&A section and don’t forget all the contests where you can get a lot of extra points.
I am number 40 on the leaderboard, meaning there are only 39 people that have reached this milestone before me and there are five Rainers that already passed the 3 million points.
I appreciate all the support I’ve received from other Rainers. So, if you would be so kind … let’s help the below Rainers who will also be hitting the 2 million points soon. Stop by their posts, and like and leave some comments on their posts.
