Having a Bad Attitude is Like Having a Flat Tire

Having a bad attitude is a lot like a flat tire. If you don’t

 change it . . . . Your in for a unstable . . . . and

bumpy ride that won’t take you very far.”

Lou Ludwig, Sales and management Consultant,

Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Having a bad attitude is like having a flat tire

Attempting to drive with a flat tire is not only unsafe . . . . it can cause an accident.  Having a bad attitude is unhealthy for your career . . . . and can derail your success journey.

Driving on a flat tire will create a very unstable and bumpy ride. A bad attitude can make a person success journey very unstable . . . . and create a lot of wasted energy . . . .  and effort showing in very little results.

When you’re driving your car . . . . and you get a flat tire you have to stop . . . .  Change the tire before you’re able to resume your journey.

With a bad attitude you have choices . . . . You can maintain a bad attitude . . . . and in time it will completely bring your success journey to a compete standstill.

Or you can elect to momentary pause your success journey . . . .  and get your hands dirty . . . . and change a bad attitude. No one really likes to get out of their car . . . . and fix a flat tire. But when you want to successfully continue your success journey you have to change the tire.

For you to move forward on your success journey . . . . you have to be willing to address your attitude. To ensure that your attitude . . . . is in harmony with your goals . . . . for your attitude to provide the smoothest success journey possible.

Having a bad attitude is like having a flat tire . . . . both will take you on a bumpy ride . . . . and a unpleasant success journey.

Lou, such wisdom!  And what a perfect analogy - nothing like a flat to destabilize things!

Hi Lou, It's amazing how a Bad Attitude will get in the way of our success, and hinders us from accomplishing those important things that matter.

Just like with a flat tire, when you catch yourself slowing down because of a bad attitude stop and fix it! Great words of wisdom, Lou. I'll bet you either never have one (bad attitude) or you know exactly what to do right away! And thanks goes to Patricia Kennedy for putting you in her Favorites this week).

Hi Lou,

Great post. So true you can't get much done in business or life with a bad attitude.

Lou, Riding on that flat/bad tire can result in complete loss.  When you first realize something is wrong, stop and check it - a repair is a LOT less expensive that a replacement!

Exact same thing for a bad attitude.

An attitude is the most important part of a day.  When you get up in the morning, choose your attitude carefully and the rest of the day will happen based on this choice.  Pair the attitude with another goal, such as eating vegetables or calling five past clients.
