“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.” When we look at this pen and ink drawing of a windswept forest by John Naka, Ron's bonsai teacher, it reminds us of this wonderful quote by Amelia Earhart.
Ron had the great fortune of studying with Mr. Naka at his home in Los Angeles. The Bonsai Pavillion at the National Arboretum in Washington, D.C, was named after him. He was the leading Bonsai master in the world at the time..
We think trees and forests are testaments to human kindness!
Happy Monday, we wish you all a great week.
