Trees & Forests: A Testament To Human Kindness!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.”  When we look at this pen and ink drawing of a windswept forest by John Naka, Ron's bonsai teacher, it reminds us of this wonderful quote by Amelia Earhart.

Ron had the great fortune of studying with Mr. Naka at his home in Los Angeles.  The Bonsai Pavillion at the National Arboretum in Washington, D.C, was named after him.  He was the leading Bonsai master in the world at the time..

We think trees and forests are testaments to human kindness!

Happy Monday, we wish you all a great week.

I wouldn't do well with bonsai....I just don't seem to be able to keep plants alive. Great quote!

Happy Monday Ron and Alexandra- a neighbor of ours had a small bonsai collection, placed in the middle of his many orchids. He had a very stressful job and I'd like to think that this provide him much peace and relaxation. Beautiful quote.

This is a nice informative post and how great it was for Ron to study with Mr. Naka in L.A.! His interpretation of trees was wonderful! It's not easy for many people to draw a tree but he captured it perfectly!

OK Alexandra when are we going to see Ron's bonsais?

Every year one of my "must sees" is the bonsai exhibit at the L. A. County Fair.

Happy, zen filled Monday Ron and Alexandra Seigel! I have tried twice to keep a Bonsai tree, bought everything I needed to trim, even talked to them daily to no avail, they both died. This is a very thoughtful post with a great message to all.

Hello Ron & Alexandra

Love the ink drawing and words that follow! So true and when it comes to nature I am a tree hugger I admit and my favorite trees are the redwoods 100 miles south of the Oregon border in California.

I have had the privilege of visiting them for 38 years now and continue to this day, and when I do I touch them and talk with them as though they are my friends

Both the quote and the drawing are wonderful. Bonsai is quite an art; that' my favorite part of the Kauai County Fair - wonderful entries.
