On with our single family home analysis for Skokie, we have 24.4% less new listings with 62 homes coming on as compared with 82 last year during the same time. There are 7.3% more under contract homes with 44 in the current month as opposed to 41 last year. Closed sales are down 14.6% at 41 homes closed and last year it was 48. The average sales price for a Skokie single family home is down .4% to $306,567 and last year it was $307,685. The average market time is down 24.1% to only 63 days before a contract Vs last year's 83 days.

Under contract condos is down 30.4% at 16 condos as opposed to 23 last year this month. The average sales price for a Skokie condo is down 1.7% to $177,175 compared to $180,327. The average market time currently is 68 days which is up 6.3% from 2015 when it was 64 days and is presently 68 days before a contract is agreed upon.
