Cities In Atlanta Divorce RatesA recent study done by Wallethub, based on the most family friendly cities in Georgia, shows that divorce rate and "family friendly" might be correllated.

In the Top Cities To Raise A Family in Georgia we explore all of these aspects, but one that jumped out was this divorce rate one.  Interestingly the places with the highest crime also had the highest divorce rate.  In addition the city that kept "winning" every category was also on the top of the list for low divorce rates.

The Top 3 Cities In Metro Atlanta Have The Lowest Divorce Rate are:

  1. Johns Creek - winner of virtually every category of this study.  Quite possibly the most popular suburb of Atlanta at the moment.
  2. Suwanee  - The slightly more affordable version of Johns Creek if you will.  With parts in Forsyth and Gwinnett county.
  3. Milton - Who knew?  Apparently the divorce rate of horses is incredibly low.  Seriously surprised that a city like Milton would make this list of cities.  Don't get me wrong it's a wonderful place to live, but it's not nearly large enough a sample size in my opinion.

Interestingly the divorce rates are 4 times greater in the lowest cities vs the highest cities.
