In the age when people rush around with their eyes glued to their phones rather than acknowledging the presence of those around them, it is refreshing when a brand evokes the slower pace of life in the past. Reflecting upon a brand’s heritage rather than focusing on the latest techno-gyrating images can be a very effective way to differentiate in a highly competitive market.
Hermès is considered to be one of the most exclusive heritage luxury brands in the world. Their window display pictured above is a salute to their heritage as saddle makers to the kings. The scene is from the Palio in Siena, Italy. This is a festive horse race that happens every summer there in July and August.
We were impressed that they also used the rich red Siena color as the overall theme of their window displays. Passers by were compelled to stop and it check it out- at least those whose attention was not buried in their phones. We did notice that it did capture the eyes of some of the phone worshipers.
If you or your company has a heritage, a salute to heritage can be an excellent way to stand out in your luxury real estate marketing initiatives. If not, you might consider starting a new tradition, today!
