San Diego Association of Realtors makes headlines.

San Diego Association of Realtors makes headlines.
Today Inman released a story about the struggle between SDAR and

Sandicor MLS (the captive MLS of the various boards in San Diego

County).
Many of us have been VERY DISSATISFIED  with Sandicor. For a big

county such as ours a good MLS should be a given, but Sandicor has

fallen short on expectations.
With thousands of agents paying $155 per quarter they have a huge

budget. Why don't we have the best MLS possible?
Maybe now we will FINALLY move up.
SDAR envisions a state-wide MLS. Why not? Maybe Sandicor is too

interested in their own future to worry about our future.
If you subscribe to inman you can read the whole story here.

Bill,

We have been impressed with Sandicor.  It is so much better than many of the MLS's out there.  A

we have  GAMLS here and well.... our local area joined but kept our smaller MLS, and for the most part we now all agree local is better than statewide.

Hi Bill- I'm not privy to all of the goings on of the various MLS's but I listened to a similar discussion recently.  Keep us informed.

Bill hope the issues get resolved, and a statewide MLS makes a lot of sense to me.

Hi Joe Pryor Technology has reduced costs, not the meltdown. I hope the NAR addresses this in your meeting.

Hi Kathleen Daniels We all should be concerned about what we are getting for our fees, which we can't "negotiate" anyway.

Hi Alexandra Ron and Alexandra Seigel that is probably true, but they are making a ton of money off the members of SDAR. We think we should get more for our money or be charged less (or both).

Well Tammy Lankford, maybe so, but you got yto follow the money, It is all about the money in the final analysis, isn't it?

Yes George Souto We all hope it gets "resolved." And the final outcome is "positive" for all the agents involved.

The MLS needs to be right first for the buyers and sellers . . . . The brokers . . . . and the real state sales professionals.

Good luck and success.

Bill, think many MLSs across the Country are having issues.  I know ours has made an offer to another MLS.

Hi Joan Cox Personally, I would prefer the regional MLS to our MLS.
