The weather was perfect, sunny, blue skies and not too hot for the Canyon Creek HOA “Fall Festival” at Trail head Park on Saturday afternoon October 29, 2016! Two new residents of Canyon Creek with small children o spearheaded the festival and created an event to remember! Thank you Tara Hernandez and Jade Braun 
for all your efforts to make this the best ever HOA "Fall Festival!!" A great job in finding so many sponsors and offering such a variety of fun events: from the boy scouts selling hot dogs, popcorn, pizza to lots of high school students manning the tables for: pumpkin painting, face painting, temporary tattoos and an assortment of fun games. The Texas Clown Balloon Man was a great idea and a huge hit with children! They patiently waited in line for his creations! The Fire Department had a fire engine on tap for anyone who wanted to explore the inner workings of the trucks. The Obstacle Course which I provided was a big hit as well as the Dinosaur bouncing house!
The red carpet was rolled out for the Costume contest and the costumes were over the top with creativity! We saw the Aladdin flying the red carpet, ghost busters, members of swat teams, Michel Phelps, Zombies, you name it, a headless horseman, princesses, witches, the royal family, Jack of Hearts, monsters..you name it! A great addition was the fun DJ and his music! He was perfect in corralling everyone to walk the red carpet and keeping the winners straight.
