Christmas on the Cumberland 2016, Clarksville TN
The Annual Christmas Light Show on the Cumberland River is opening on Tuesday, November 22 for the season. This brings in thousands of people come from all over Middle Tennessee to see the decorations and lights along the river the Riverwalk in McGregor Park.
The Downtown area of Clarksville has many of the buildings decorated, the streets lights are adorned and the courthouse is covered in lights for the Christmas season.
Times are 5-10pm Monday through Thursday, 5-11pm Friday through Sunday.
The light show will continue until January 3rd. There are a million colorful lights, some twinkling, carols playing and people in the holiday spirit. Come celebrate this holiday extravaganza.
Christmas on the Cumberland is free to the public and sponsored by the City of Clarksville and other businesses. It is a fairytale time. Christmas on the Cumberland is one reason that Clarksville is a great place to live. Families and friends are all welcome and even your pets are invited to the outdoor displays.
Historic Downtown Clarksville has many old and historic buildings that are listed on the National Historic Register and seeing them at Christmastime is special, too.
