Be Assured ...When Your Cell Phone is INsured

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

For many people....a cell phone is a life line....in business, it is your connection to clients and vendors.  In "real life" it may well have replaced a land line and be your only source ocell phonef verbal communication to the outside world.

Whatever it means in your life...it is an asset worth protecting at very little cost. It can take a trip under water....fall out of a pocket, briefcase....under the tires of a car...you can use the wrong charger and melt the connection for recharging it....accidents happen...and to avoid being a forever helpless victim....or at the very least...forced to start over....etc., etc.....Call your carrier NOW.

lost cell phone   For very few dollars a month added to your bill, your phone, if it cannot be repaired...you lost it...can be replaced...over night !

Cell phones in business have become like another appendage....and the loss is broken cell phonecrippling....make that phone call...you won't regret it....and if that "What if your phone...." ever happens to you....you will be assured that those few dollars you spent a month to be INsured were well worth it !

Good advice. Both of us forgot our phones during the week, and realized how much we rely on having them nearby...

Well Dorie Dillard  it can be as simple as grabbing the wrong charger...even though it fits....OR someone with sticky fingers ...

Great reminder Sally and David... but I believe there are also third party companies that will insure one's phone at a cost lower than what the phone companies charge.

Hi Sally and David --- I currently do not have insurance on my phone but it certainly makes sense for others.  It's nice to have options.

Hi Sally and David- When our cell phones cost us pennies the insurance didn't matter but with costs around $800 or $900+ it does make some sense!

Sally and David excellent advice.  My cell phones have always been insured.  Like you said it is well worth the cost.

Have a friend who bikes a lot, and has dropped/rolled/cruched/shattered several.  Worth it, but also know if there are limits, how many.  Do they replace with new, refurbished........just make sure you know to make an informed decision.

Sally and David how ironic you send this message. My cell phone literally stopped working on Thursday. I was supposed to have a new one by Saturday but the rep where I purchased my phone did know know Fedex does not deliver until Monday. I am so lost without it. I don't know anyone's phone numbers. I did have insurance thankfully. The problem I had was still under warranty. I will tell everyone purchase the monthly insurance and back up all your contacts. Great advice and thanks again.
