Dust Angels

One of my favorite angels was John Travolta in “Michael.”  And if you like angels that smoke cigarettes it may be just the movie for you too.

At an inspection a while back I actually saw signs of a real angel on the basement wall.

Of course this dark discoloration was merely the location where a refrigerator once was, but I thought it was fun to think of it as being an angel--and is one as much as any snow angel.  This is a “dust angel.”

In our homes we can see signs of air movement at many locations.  Other common locations are like where air is pulled through the carpet of a crawl space access hatch.

Or perhaps above the light bulbs of your bathroom vanity?
