Fat Pete's is a barbecue place in DC's Cleveland Park, and since the last time we had an ActiveRain meetup, they have changed their recipes. Lots of Tums!
I was joined by three cool guys.
Alan Gross arrived first and we had some chili as a little appetizer. Not wanting to appear to be a wimp, I actually ate it - even though it was filled with those chilis you find in Asian countries that they refuse to serve to gringos!
Then Steve Shatsky, who recently moved to the DC area, joined us. And I'm sure that Willie the Labradoodle would have loved to have been there - that dog adores Steve! Now, being from Texas, I think out DC barbecue might not have 
wowed Steve all that much, and I got it. I've had amazing barbecue in Houston.
And while we saved a seat for favorite blog buddy, Jeff Dowler, he couldn't figure out the bi-locating thing. So he checked in for about 15 minutes on FaceTime from Orlando, where he is attending the NAR Convention.
The photos I tried to take last night on my iPhone went a little sideways, so these are recycled from encounters! And I couldn't figure out how to get a FaceTime capture of Jeff! He's probably the only one not downing Tums today!
