Pay it Forward 2016
I am so glad I asked Brian England to be one of the three WISE MEN this year and help judge the 2016 Pay It Forward Challenge.
He is not only doing a great job of moderating the entries, but he has shared his own Pay It Forward events.
We can all get some inspiration from Brian's post and hopefully be inspired to follow in his footsteps.
There is so much we can do to make a difference in this world, one small gesture at a time!

Even though it seems like I do quite a bit to pay it forward in my normal day to day life, I always feel like I should be doing so much more. I try to make it known to my family and friends, that I am someone that they can call upon if they need help with something. If they do call, I hope that I am able to indeed help them out in the manner that they need.
With regard to giving of my money, after paying my own bills, I try to build up a cash reserve. One area of giving that I try to do in addition to that is in funding a college fund for my neice and nephews. I don't have kids of my own, so I am hoping to build up a big enough fund for them to all go to college or get a good start in their adult life, when the time comes. I am not sure if my brother and his wife save anything up for them, but hopefully they do as well.
Another area of giving that brings me much satisfaction when I am able to do it, is providing assistance for a family in Albania. This family has become near and dear to my heart and when I hear that they are in need, I hope that I will always be able to fill that need. It is usually financial, as the Father is not always able to find work. The family shows me a great deal of love and genuinely appreciate any support I am able to provide them, even if it is just supportive words.
A goal in my life is to be in a position to help the homeless in a bigger way. It makes me so sad to see someone on the streets and really struggling. Currently, I don't help often, but I always have the desire to do so. A couple of years ago, I took in a homeless person and tried to help them, but it seemed like they didn't really want the help anyways, so it was a bit discouraging. It was also kind of risky thing in allowing someone in my home, that I didn't really know at all. I think I would do it again though, if the situation felt right, but I haven't really pursued anything like that again.
I am sure most people do a lot more than I do to make a difference in the world, so I really look forward to reading all of the posts for this contest. Being a judge will be difficult, as I am sure that each and every post will have a great deal of merit and be worthy of winning the contest. No matter what though, a contest such as this only spark people to do more to make a difference in the world!
