Grab your tissue and head out to view the homes featured this year for the Ojai Holiday Home Tour 2016.
Why the tissue, you may ask? I think there maybe some drooling going on over these beautiful homes with distinctive kitchens. I love a good kitchen so I no doubt would be drooling over them.
The Ojai Holiday Home Tour will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 12 & 13, 2016. The times are 10a.m. to 4p.m.
This tour is self-guided and the homes on the tour are the Libbey House, built in 1908, the El Toro built in 1926, the Carroll House built in the 1950’s for Loretta Young and the Ladera Ranch Home, a 1970’s expansion of a 1940’s-era Forest Service building.
Presented by the Ojai Festivals Women’s Committee, this annual event, entering its twentieth year, invites guests to tour four distinctive Ojai Valley homes, each with historical significance in the valley. The Home Tour and Marketplace benefit the Festival and its BRAVO education and community program, which offers free music workshops to the Ojai Valley public schools and the community.
Taking place that same weekend is the companion event, the Holiday Marketplace, held at the Matilija Junior High School Gymnasium (703 El Paseo Road) featuring a collection of curated lifestyle and fashion items from more than 40 vendors.
Admission to the Marketplace is free.
The Marketplace hours are 10am to 5:30pm on Saturday and 10am to 4:30pm on Sunday.
