Now is the time to move

Ok. The election is over. Rates are at record low levels. They will not stay low long, according to what I hear. It's the perfect time to move! Yes, I know, the holidays are upon us, but that too will go away. It's time to get a Real Estate professional to analyze your current home, to tell you what you need to do to get it market ready. Do you need to paint/caulk? Replace deteriorating soffits? Common knowledge suggests that, if a home needs $500 of touch ups, it will bring $5000 less on the market. No brainer! Now don't get me wrong. There's no need in spending $5000 in flooring upgrades if your home is in the lower price ranges. You won't get it back. Once again, it is the job of the Real Estate professional to tell you what to do and not do. At the same time, if you are downsizing from a million dollar plus home, it will have to be in A plus condition. The point is, half of my people are going larger, due to growing families, the other half are empty nesters. The kids are grown and gone. They want something just as nice as the big house, just not as big. Lower maintenance. Whether you are growing or shrinking, now is a good time.
