This is an interior photo of a casita of a listing that will be posted in MLS in two weeks. The home is in Phoenix Garfield Historical District - an area experiencing increased interest due to its character and proximity to a vibrant down town area.
I chose this particular photo because it represents beautifully the underlying principle of the owner's design throughout the home - love of minimalism. There is no unneccessary detail, just clean-cut, geometrical lines with well-defined function. Color and contrast is used to increase interest and outline function.
On the photo below the white panel serves as a privacy wall, separating the living room and the bedroom; yet it can slide and create a deeper perspective from the living room of this 450 sq.ft. casita, originally built about 100 years ago.
I took those photos with my Canon PowerShot SD1400IS camera, when I was preparing photos for the flyers and postcards for the listing.
This is my entry for Dick Greenberg's Photo Contest 2016.
