Just thought I would share with you that the relay for life walk was this past Friday. We had a great turn out and it was very successful. It began at 6:00 P.M. and ended at 7:00 A.M. the following morning. There was a band and a D.J. all night long, along with many food booths and other things like raffles and door prizes as well as a silent auction. Our little group solf funnel cakes and hot chocolate but our biggest hit was the woman in our group who does face painting. The line for her was 20 deep most of the night and she does not do just the little smiley faces or things like that she does an unbelievable job she did some people with painted Mardi Gras masks as that was our them for our group this year. Next year we will be serving Buffalo Style chicken wings all night ot until we run out LOL. Proceeds for the evenings event were over $50,000.00 dollars raised and still counting.
