As a real estate agent in Southwest Florida, I’ve learned that Black Friday is a big deal in our area. Whether you just bought your first house in the area or you're a snowbird down for the season, you’ll find that we have a fantastic range of shopping choices. On the one hand, you can find all the luxury shopping you could ever want. Yet, on the other hand, there’s still plenty of unique local choices and even some outstanding outlet shopping at our prime outlets. So … if you’re in the mood to redecorate or maybe even pick up some appliances this season, here are some spots to check out in Southwest Florida.
Ellenton Premium Outlets
Let’s start with one of my favorite outlet malls, Ellenton. This one is located near Bradenton and Sarasota, and the 130 outlet stores cover everything you can imagine. There’s clothing, watches, cosmetics, and so much more. But because these are dedicated outlets for the big brands, you can find absolutely amazing steals for the holidays.
Miromar Outlets
Located in Estero, Florida, this SWFL choice is another good one for outlet shopping. They open very early and even have giveaways ... Guess, Loft, Lacoste. You’ll recognize a ton of the names represented at this one.
St Armands Circle
But if you need some local shopping choices, St Armands Circle is probably one of your best choices. With an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants, this one is about more than simply shopping on Black Friday in Southwest Florida. Instead, you enjoy an entire local experience, but with an upscale feel.
The Mall at University Town Center
Known by its shorter name UTC, this shopping mall is only a few years old, but anchored by some great luxury and speciality shopping. At the same time, it has a range of stores for just about every price range. However, if you’re in the market for a new Tesla product or a stunning outfit, this is the place to check out near to Sarasota.
Coconut Point
Located in Estero, this shopping experience is not as well known. Yet, it’s a beautiful location with a sensational selection of businesses. From Banana Republic to Apple Computer, this spot is well-known by locals in Southwest Florida.
