We have been a bit nuts lately. Staging, business, new endeavor's, family you name it we are doing it lately. This weekend I had the opportunity to spend three days including today with some fabulous women in a CSP Advanced Training Class.
Lori Kim Polk, Artful Journey, Sacramento, Ca.
Cindy Lin, Stage4more, San Francisco Area
Terrylynn Fisher, Diablo Realty, Concord, Ca
Dana Ward, Lime Design, Bend Oregon
Kahai Tate, Aloha Staging, San Leandro, CA
Donna Lynch, Welcome Home, Dublin, CA
Christin Rae, CSP, Toronto Canada
What an honor to be locked in a room with these talented, bright and extremely motivated women. The energy was intense and the discussion lively. I am never disappointed by the CSP training and the people that are in the class, but this group was exceptional.
It's not always easy to give up our precious Saturdays to work on our businesses, but I do believe we all agreed that it was worth it. I learned so much from the class and everyone who attended and we had so much fun staging a few rooms in Amy (Terrylynn's daughter's) house in Concord today. Seasoned professionals who left their egos at the door and just joined in the moment to improve the home.
How is it we can talk and talk and talk about staging and it never gets old! I am sure it has to do with how much our industry has changed, and continues to change, over the past few years. There is always something to learn and to share. Cindy Lin is an expert at technology and blogging, Donna Lynch has such a great perspective from the Furniture Rental end, and Christine Rae is always an inspiration.
Now back to the real world where not everyone wants to chat about staging...so happy to have A/R!
Is it possible that we are obsessed? That would have been a fun and educational time even if there was no "class".
