Wordless Wednesday San Francisco

I have been fascinated by San Francisco since I was a little girl. I used to read about the Barbary Coast and the Gold Rush as a child. My parents and I did not travel much when I was little because mom always wanted to go to see her family on vacation.

 

The one big trip we did take was to drive to California from Texas. I loved it all but to me there was just something extra special about San Francisco and I could relate to the song “I left my heart in San Francisco.”

 

Last year Bob and I spent a day in San Francisco and have spent days here there with the kids traveling to other places. Here are some of our pictures from the City by the Bay.

Hi Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert ,  San Francisco is a cool City.  It has been years since I was there.  It has a lot of character, from the Golden Gate to the cable cars, fisherman's wharf and Alcatraz and that's just the beginning....

San Francisco is one of America's special places that packs in a whole lot of wonder into a relatively small place!  I always enjoy visiting there!  It's only about 90 miles from home.
