I'm a late comer to this challenge hosted by Debbie Reynolds. Here's the link to the 10 Day Thanksgiving Post Challenge in case you missed it, too. This is my day 1 post.
Some weird Karmic misfortune had me born in the Midwest. I made my first trip to Colorado when I was five years old. For me there was no looking back. After that trip I knew I was destined to live in the Rocky Mountains. It didn't have to be Colorado. It could be anywhere there were high, rugged mountains. I absolutely knew this at a very early age.
Now here I am, and I've been in and around the Rocky Mountains since I was 19 years old (with the exception of a short period of time when my family made me buckle down and graduate college).
Regular readers of my blog know how much I love Western Colorado. I'm so very thankful that I can live, and make a living, in such a beautiful area. Cedaredge is also a wonderful place to call home. The Grand Mesa is an amazing backdrop, and when I need to get out into the woods...it's just a short drive up a steep hill.
These pictures show a small portion of what's to love about Western Colorado and the Cedaredge area. We don't have any snow yet, but are expecting some tonight and tomorrow.
I've lived on Colorado's Western Slope for over 26 years. I love this area and all it has to offer, and I enjoy sharing what I know about my home. As a REALTOR®, I also love to share my expertise in this area as well. If you need real estate information for Montrose County, or Delta County, Colorado...please give me a call.
