Look For the Solution

“When everything looks like it’s going up in smoke.

Look for the solution . . . . and you will find

the opportunities.

Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,

Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Look for the solution

Life is about how you look at things.

When everything is going up in smoke . . . . stand back look at the situation . . . . and look for the gold nugget of the opportunities.

Every situation has their down side . . . . but also in that situation there is an upside . . . . and opportunities.

How you look at things . . . . will determine what you see.

Look for the positive . . . . seek out the opportunities . . . . and they will be there for you will find them.

Life is about how you look at things . . . . and your attitude will determine what you . . . . see and how you will respond to what you see.

So when everything is going up in smoke . . . . look past the smoke for the opportunities.

When you look for the solution . . . . You’ll find the answers

Hi Lou Ludwig I have always believed that problems are opportunities.

Smoke, yes smoke can cloud vision.  I've been there and you are absolutely right, we have to stand back-outside of the smoke to find the opportunities and to creat solutions.  If it is a blown escrow for what ever reason... we need to provide a road map for the nest steps for either buyers or sellers and learn ourselves.

  •  How could I have handled this differently? Or, would that even have made a difference?
  • What can I do now to remidy it for the Buyer prior to our next contract?

Personally, that smoke can get in our eyes in so many different ways,  but there too attitude plays a huge role.  Gratefulness for the good things in life is an excellent foundation to seeing through the smoke of a difficulty or challenging situation and on to solutions and happiness.

Thanks for sharing.

Keeping a clear head and looking for solutions is the only way to deal with a real problem. Human nature to feel sorry for yourself for a few minutes, but beyond that it's a choice. We all struggle with the choice from time to time, but that doesn't remove our agency.

Many people just give up when a problem comes up.  That is not the way to help clients

Great post & sounds so much better than 'look at the bright side' because that's very hard to do when there is a total bonfire going.

This happens in every deal!  The best scenerio is when both parties look for that solution that satisfies everyone!
