I Really Have Something to be Thankful for Today...Day 3 of the Thanksgiving Post Challenge

I got the news at the office this morning, and it made my week. Two of the feral cats I trapped and took to the shelter were adopted today. One was the gray momma kitty and the other was her kitten. I called them Blue (momma kitty) and Fuzz Butt.

cedaredge animal shelter information Blue had a slight chance of finding a loving home as a house cat, but not Fuzz Butt. The kitten was too feral to get tamed down unless someone can spend a lot of time with her. Now they are both going to the same home as barn cats. The news I received said the couple that adopted them is very knowledgeable in handling feral cats and getting them acclimated to a new area.

You can see both of them in the picture.

This is bittersweet news for me. I have been considering adopting Blue. At least now she can stay with her kitten and they will both be happy about that. Both of them have had their shots and been spayed. Thanks to the Cedaredge Animal Shelter and the volunteers there for making this happen.

Oh, you made my heart smile, Debbie Laity! Bittersweet news, I know! I don't know how you don't adopt all of the ones you rescue! LOL Hats off to you for all you do! Blue & Fuzz Butt are together and that is wonderful news!

My Charlotte is a rescue cat and has added so much to our home over the last 12 years! I can't imagine life without her!

That is good news. I was wondering if you could hear me yelling all week Debbie Laity . I got the tidal wave of bpo orders. This AM company has been giving me lots of listings so when the manager of the company calls, i was like "ohno". She asked if i could handle extra orders, my famous last words were "send them all. She send me 62 bpos late Monday. In 5 days I finished up 74 orders, drove 980 miles in 28 hours and got them all done plus a few from other banks. I dont want to try this again.,,,,,

I do love animals, Debe Maxwell . I'll keep doing what I can to help out the little furballs in my area. In fact I will be helping the shelter shoppe tomorrow. I volunteer there every Tuesday. This is a thrift store and all of the proceeds go to the animal shelter.
