I Got Help from the Salvation Army!
(The Third Annual Pay it Forward November Challenge)

Every year, we contribute to one of our favorite Charities, the Salvation Army, as they do a lot for the community. Our local MLS, the Elkhart County Board of REALTORS® raises money through a Holiday Auction they have at this time every year at the Matterhorn Restaurant and Conference Center, in Elkhart..
The Food Bank of Elkhart County was another charity that we helped in the past. The food bank system here, has now changed to a regional distribution center in another county. Our local church, Harvest Community Church has partnered with the Salvation Army in collecting food, for those who will need their help during this season, so we were still able to help, thanks to the Salvation Army.
They supplied boxes for those who wanted to help the Salvation Army in their food drive. We were glad to participate, so we took a box and headed to the grocery store and had fun picking out the items to fill it up.
I am looking forward to this years auction in a couple of weeks, so we can add to the blessings that the Salvation Army provides. We try to be creative on our auction item. Here are a few of our past items that raised money from both ECBOR and the Builders Association of Elkhart County during the past couple of years.
We were still able to help distribute food for
our community,
with a little help from my friends.
