NORTH ATTLEBORO — Ten streets, located in new subdivisions on the west side of town, will be named to commemorate the town's veterans.
Planning board Chairman Richard Thimot said Fred Bottomley and Allan Riley, developers of the
Sheldonville Preserve and Hickory Estates subdivisions, have agreed to name streets in honor of some of the town's veterans.
The names were selected with help from Veterans Agent James Bound.
The town already has several streets named for veterans, including Robert Toner Boulevard and
Roland Baxter Road. Thimot said the planning board is also asking developers to consider naming streets for other veterans.
Four veterans from North Attleboro would be commemorated with street names in Sheldonville Preserve, located off Sheldonville Road"
