Debbie Reynolds is hosting a 10 day challenge for what we are grateful and Thankful for. This is day five. I am so grateful and thankful for our wonderful Active Rain platform. I have learned so much from so many. I have improved my writing skills and my love of photography has grown and blossomed here in the rain. But to me the most important thing in the platform is the relationships that I have gained. We all have something in common Real Estate so we already have commonality, but the friendships are so treasured. I enjoy meeting Roy Kelley and Patricia Kennedy at the DC meet-up it was so fun!
I have met Sussie Sutton and Rose King here in Houston. I met Endre Barath, Jr. and Ron and Alexandra Seigel in California a couple of years ago though no pictures were allowed. I could not believe how much Robert Gilbert and I have in common with Diane and Endre. It was like meeting old friends.
Just recently we met up in Napa and I met Myrl Jeffcoat , and Lottie Kendall for the 1st time. We had met Curtis Van Carter before.
I hope to get to DC for another meet-up with folk there, Patricia Kennedy and I have a lot in common and we both have wander lust in our blood.
I am truly grateful for the people here in the rain and hope to meet more of you. You brighten my day when I am down, give support when it is needed and let me share your ups and downs. That is what true friends do.
