Meditation On The Cliffs of Schnebly Hills - (Center of the Image)
Red Rock Magic
There is something about the majesty of the mountain formations that allows you to get deep inside yourself. There are thousands of areas that one can go to be alone with just the earth that surrounds you. The air is full of quiet solitude. That quiet is absorbed into the earth and then resurfaces with more purity as it enters your space.
Image sitting here and seeing the
red rock formations right in front of
you. There is an order of things that
help put into perspective what our
lives are all about.
Ringo Starr once said, "At the end of the day, I can end up just totally wacky, because I've made mountains out of molehills. With meditation, I can keep them as molehills."
So seeking tranquility helps you put the mountains in front of you in
perspective with the molehills you are wrestling with. I am thankful for
the tranquility I wake up with as I watch the sun rise over the mountains
Really stunning landscapes and pictures, Sheri! While on a trip to Utah's Highway 12 where they have similar red rock scenes, I spent a morning taking pictures. However, rains came mid day and enriched the colors. I felt compelled to take the pictures all over again.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos, Sheri -- while I have never been to Sedona, everyone I know who has visited has nothing but good things to say about it. What a wonderful place to live and work.
I may have seen this photo and or a similar one you posted like this! Love the photo, colors are so vibrant and your post has been featured to the group:
I could spend hours looking at those red rocks, seeing the faces, thinking, meditating and praying. You have such beautiful nature where you are, Sheri.
