Anyone out there knows of a really good lender in the St. George, Utah area.  I can't believe some of the incompetence in the business right now.  I have been given story after story with my current lender here and I'm about to pull the plug on her.  I don't know if she thinks I just started the business yesterday but please some the ridiculous excuses are unreal.

I guess this is my venting day, but I'd sure like to find some really good people in the lending business right now, so send your replies and I will greatly appreciate them!!!

This seems to be pretty common right now, Debbie.  There are a lot of mortgage people who will not survive this shift because they do not really "KNOW" the mortgage industry and a lot of the programs they have always done are not available now.  With a return to FHA and VA lending as a competitive alternative to conventional, you have to find a lender that not only has those programs available but also KNOWS how to employ those programs!

I've heard some ridiculous stories in my time, but the lending industry is a little crazy right now.  The stories that bug me are when you know they're lying.  They know you know they're lying and they just look you in the eye and lie some more.  At least show me some respect and be more creative in your lying.

Tell me about that one......at least, like you said, get more creative with the lying and show me some kind of respect for my knowledge. You hit the nail right on the head!!!

Debbie - Call Jeff Belonger TheFHAExpert.com but he does all kinds of loans.  In fact, I might call him tomorrow and borrow some lunch money.  I think he is going to be licensed in all states, maybe Utah already.  He is a straight shooter and works his B____ off for buyers.
