Being in a drought state I am always happy when we get rain, so I was particularly pleased to have some rain last night, and off and on again this morning.
It was quite heavy at one point last night – it woke us up - and while I’m not sure how much we actually had, the level on the swim spa went up substantially so it wasn’t just a drizzle.
And the bonus? A beautiful rainbow earlier this morning, and then a second one a couple of hours later.
The rain will not cure the drought but every bit helps. And it looks like there could be more before the day ends. Here’s hoping.
