Thankful for the Mile High Sunshine - Day 9

Today is the 9th day of Debbie Reynolds 's giving thanks challenge.

One thing I love about living in Colorado is the 300 days of sunshine each year.  The other 65 days are not quite as shiny and bright.

Yesterday started out with snow falling and gray clouds covering the sky above.  There were brief moments when the sun tried to peek through without much success.  The entire day was just kind of Blah!

Today there are some reminders of yesterday's snow storm, but the skies are bright blue and the sun is shining down bright.  These are the days that I love the most in Colorado.

Regardless of the temperatures outside, if the sun is shining bright it is a fantastic day!

Happy Thanskgiving!!

Thanks for sharing your photograph. We have a nice day in Maryland and Dolores has gone out to meet a friend for lunch at their favorite Chinese restaurant.

I love the photos of your deep blue skies and sunshine right after a big snow. It is a gorgeous part of the country.

Hi Belinda Spillman - There is something special about 300 days of sunshine. Even in cold areas, you can walk outside and feel the warmth of the sun and radiating through to your inner being.  I wish you a wonderful and memorable and sunny Thanksgiving Day!
