So Thankful for My Life…
For this final 10 Day Thanksgiving Post Challenge , I would like to thank Debbie Reynolds for hosting this and encouraging us to do what we should be doing anyway.
And wouldn’t it be nice if we continued to wake up each and every day and shout out to the world...or at least your bathroom mirror….what you are thankful for!
On this Day of Giving Thanks, I am grateful for the life I have been given. In fact, I’m not giving thanks just for my life but for all life in general.
We are all given one, and it is ours alone. Some are blessed with a long life, and sadly, some have lives that are cut short far too soon.
Some come into this world with obstacles already before them, and some create their own obstacles.
But no matter the case, I’ve come to appreciate and respect all life.
With age, I try not to lose patience with those who seem to have been put on earth to cause me to lose mine.
I try hard not to make judgments of others and what they do (haven’t perfected that yet.)
And, controlling though I am, I am trying hard not to try to enforce my ideas of what their life should be on them. It’s not easy, but I’m recognizing and respecting the fact that it is their life.
I am grateful for all who are in my life, even if only for a short time.
Thank you all for My Life and making it what it is.
