Most years, I've hosted a Thanksgiving dinner at my house for nearby family and a few friends thrown in. This year, when my sister Joan suggested she host the Thanksgiving dinner, I was a little bit dubious.

In spite of this, she put together a wonderful holiday dinner with turkey for the carnivores at her table.
When she told me her plans for twice baked sweet potatoes, complete with soy cheese and cream cheese that sounded a little, well, awful. But it wasn't. Everything tasted just delicious.
And the great thing is that I didn't have to grocery shop (except for the salad) or cook - just eat a lot of turkey and other delicious vegetarian fare!
