How to be a Stellar Seller
As REALTORS, we are constantly reminding our seller clients to be "stellar sellers". Meaning, they commit to specific recommendations in order to help in a quick, no-hassle sale.
We warn them of the dangers of overpricing their home, sharing the latest MLS data on the subject property.
We insist that the house be easy to show whenever possible. When a REALTOR schedules a showing for a qualified buyer, do your absolute best to accommodate them.
We insist that the home be show-ready, clean and tidy with all personal items tucked away and out of sight, all medications locked up and we insist that the curb appeal be pleasing. You only get one chance to make a good first impression.
But what happens when a REALTOR sells their own home? Do we practice what we preach? By gosh, we do! I recently placed my own home on the market. The stuff I make my sellers do does indeed work and is certainly not lost on this stellar seller.
