Flaming enthusiasm, backed up by horse sense and persistence,
is the quality that most frequently makes for success --- Dale Carnegie

I hope you enjoy Dale Carnegie's quote and this beautiful video. My insights are as follows: The power of success is greatest when you take the reins to control your own destiny and you run with others who can encourage you to keep moving in the right direction by never giving up, taking the lead or knowing when to follow, appreciating what is right in front of you or celebrating life with the right companions, kicking back on those actions that won't take you far enough, and knowing the difference about what is right and wrong.
As we kick up our heels in preparation to leave behind the dusty trails of 2016, let us have the courage to meet the demands of the new beginnings of 2017 with the same enthusiasm we had as an enthusiastic 17 year old teenager who believed they could take over the world and make a difference. Today, we are older and wiser. We see the bigger picture. As self-employed business owners, we engage in problems and find solutions we never knew we could until we tried. Though there were failures, we learned how to get better results the next time. Avoidance is never the solution. I am thankful for the recent 10 day Thanksgiving Challenge by Debbie Reynolds. I read most of them and felt an abundance of gratitude which invigorated me with encouragement to go further along the path of life with more love in my heart and determination to help others succeed. I know now, accomplishing great things doesn't build a Trump Tower it expands to others who come along the paths we go and the journey gets richer and more fulfilling when you do unto others as you would want them to do for you.
