Special Effects in The Rain
Don't you just LOVE meeting other ActiveRain members?! We used to have ActiveRain meet-ups all the time and the Rain Camps were my favorite! We would travel to destinations across the US and not only did we get to meet many AR members in one-fell-swoop but, we learned a lot too!
Several of us traveled to other conferences across the nation and once in Atlanta at another conference (not Rain Camp!), a group of us (all AR members) broke away from the conference and had our own 'mini' conference!
As it happened, our own Thom Abbott took the time to show us his beautiful city and boy, did we have a BLAST! We worked hard and played hard also!
This is one of my favorite photos with several ActiveRain members who attended the Atlanta 'mini conference.' I absolutely loved the color of Tammy Lankford,'s sweater and wanted to make it really pop. So, I turned the rest of us to black and white and left Tammy's top as the only color in the photo. This was my first attempt at doing this and thought I would share!

A couple of morals to take from this post:
1. ActiveRain Members ROCK just as you thought they would before you ever meet them in real life!
2. If you're ever bored as a conference attendee, create your own conference - especially if there are any AR members in the room!!
