You don’t have to celebrate Christmas to enjoy the 100 Ft Christmas Tree in Delray Beach. To mark the beginning of the holiday season, there will be the annual tree lighting ceremony.

Beginning at 5 pM there will be musical performances by local school groups. In addition, there are activities around the tree such as a Kids’ Train Ride, Ice-skating rink (Florida style), a carousel, and a mini-golf course!
Santa arrives at 7:15 PM to light the tree and then will be available to discuss those Christmas lists and take pictures.
Please note: while the Tree Lighting is free to attend, some of the vendors or activities will have a small charge.

*Work begins on the tree even before Halloween has passed.
*Volunteer “Fluffers” check all 15,000 bulbs and fluff over 3000 branches
*Local restaurants feed the 30+ workers that work on the tree as well as the school groups who volunteer to help
*The tree is made up of 30,000 pounds of metal framing and 650 steel panels.
*There are 9800 pounds of foliage
A special “thank you” to Putt’n Around for donating a brand new ($14,000) ice skating rink to the city.
