Your first option, is to continue to do marketing, keep your name in front of people who know you, trust you and like you, also calling seven to 10 of those people at least once a month and offering a thank you,   offer   and ask to each of them.

Open houses! Almost always at least six parties come through my open houses. Now I am not sure of the areas like Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and other colder places in America, but especially Phoenix since it is ideal golf weather in December and as long as you are in the sun instead of the shade you will feel the warm sunshine.

As they call them Snow Birds are coming, people are visiting for the holidays, and there are the regular locals who have an interest in moving up, or down are out and about.

Writing two thank you notes daily and mailing them, working on your expectations and plans, changes and what you will continue to have remain the same during 2017.

The list goes on and on. Just putting in a few hours daily of remaining proactive will take you into January with more business than deciding to just quit for the month.

Talking with 40 or 50 loan officers a week is one of my most exciting events. It is interesting how some of them, shut you out, others are wondering where you got their telephone number, and a small few may be pleasantly surprised you have called, and are wanting to begin sharing leads with them.

This loan officer approach just may be the most interesting of all opportunities there are out there for real estate agents.
