I was in Kenya for just under two weeks. I loved my trip and saw and learned much, but I am glad to be home. Travel is very special and promotes understanding and growth. The more I see the world, the more I want to see and yet coming home is always joyful. Home is more than just a structure, it is a feeling that all is right in my life and I am safe in a place I know and have created.
I am expecting guests this weekend and am looking forward to it. Now, ready or not, I can play hostess and enjoy the pleasure of seeing old friends in a familiar and easy environment. More about that later. Anyway today I will get my mail and try to organize my life once again. It's good to be home.
