Water in your basement is not a good idea

Water infiltration in your basement is not something you can ignore. When you first notice an issue, make sure you remedy the issue as soon as possible. This might sound costly, but if you wait it will cost you more in the long run. Fixing it at the first sign is the best way to handle it.

Turning a blind eye on the situation will NOT make it go away. Sometimes the problem can be a quick fix, so why not take care of it before it's too late. Buyers do expect a clean, dry basement. Potential buyers might be turned off if they see water but if they notice that it has been taken care of, then it's not such a big issue. It also shows the buyers that you take care of your home.
