Many of you may have heard of or eaten at this restaurant ~ they have locations across the country. They just opened in a NW Austin location 5 minutes from my office and we’re all very excited to welcome them to our side of town! If your out and about this week-end make it a point to stop in and sample some of their great dishes........ You'll be glad you did!!

There is a warm and inviting atmosphere with a focus on the family approach in any Pappadeaux restaurant. That attitude makes you want to keep coming back to the restaurant. It’s interesting to note that they not only run their restaurants they also own and drive the trucks that deliver the fresh seafood and meat, they employ the electricians and even make their own dining room chairs! This ensures there’s never a holdup in the process of bringing the absolute best to their guests. Pappas restaurants offer a range of cuisines served in generous portions – you won’t leave here hungry!
The menus change often that ensures you get the freshest, most seasonal selections; and that goes for the produce and sauces that are made from scratch every day. If you’ve never been to a Pappas restaurant here is a sample of what you’ll find on the Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen menu: For appetizers try the Baked Crab Mac & Cheese with orecchiette pasta tossed with fresh crabmeat in a three cheese cream sauce with buttered bread crumbs. Or, you might also like the Crispy Fried Alligator with fresh cut potato sticks & creole dipping sauce. For an entrée, there’s Atlantic Salmon Alexander with blackened salmon with shrimp, scallops & crawfish in a white wine cream sauce with dirty rice. The Pasta Mardi Gras with linguine tossed with crawfish, andouille sausage & crimini mushrooms in a marinara cream sauce topped with jumbo grilled shrimp is also a favorite. And, for dessert what would be better than the Dessert Trio – banana pudding, sweet potato pecan pie & crème brulée?
