Not sure if you have been to King of Prussia mall recently. Over this last year they had been extending or connecting the two parts of the mall, which actually went by different names even. Now under one name, King of Prussia Mall, it is connected with the most gorgeous bridge, extra parking under cover and valet parking where they will also clean your car whilst you shop. It is gorgeous! As a local Realtor where people can shop is important and having one of the premier locations in the country nearby helps home values considerably.
I was over at the mall early the other morning, getting tires changed on my car at Costco, and so the place was very quiet and allowed me to get some great photos of this new area connecting the two parts.
Firstly, it is decorated for the holidays, the floors, chairs, walls and ceiling are all gorgeous and high quality finishes.
The retailers filling this area are also high end, several design and furniture retailers, clothing and even a new food court, including Shake Shack, who actually have a location outside on the Mall property as well.
As this photo shows Hermes is one of the high end retailers, but there are many more, some I have not heard of, but am sure others have. The window layouts of many were very varied and would be interesting to Ron and Alexandra Seigel. Maybe another visit by me and I will take some photos of just that.
King of Prussia Mall now is the largest Mall in the country, at least until Mall of America completes their extension as well.
There were several people walking the mall for their exercise whilst there were no crowds. It did have a slightly earie feeling with a lack of people, but it also gave you an opportunity to not be distracted by the noise, I have found the mall reverberates speech and it can be very loud, which is distracting and a reason not to go.
Our office has a location set up at one end of the mall and it does generate business, good for our sellers as we have their homes featured on boards and laptops, helping us find new buyers moving to the area.
If you have the opportunity, now is a good time with the holiday decoration to visit, before the real holiday rush begins to visit and enjoy the new extension and the rest of the mall as well. There still appear to be spaces available for new retailers in the extension which has higher ceilings than the two ends of the mall and people can walk right into the extension after parking their cars under cover as well.
I love the sculpture here in the middle, the floors, and the ceilings.
If you want to find a home near to the mall, we have lots of options, the mall is located close to the junction of many roads, it is easy to reach from Philadelphia on the Schuylkill Expressway, the PA turnpike has a major exit right here for those coming form the East or the West, and route 202 gives access from North and South. But Main Line towns, villages and neighborhoods are all close by with great schools and restaurants, although the Mall itself nowadays has some great restaurant options as well.
We look forward to helping you find a great home in the right place and location for you. Give us a call today!
