Ahhhhhh, the Christmas yard decorations when the home is for sale...
Have coached, suggested, explained until I was blue in the face, and even had a professional stager speak to sellers about how to decorate their homes for the holidays while it is on the market..
Most listen, and understand the importance of showcasing the home and not the decorations ( and the additional issue with gifts under trees...)
HOWEVER,,, I did forget to mention inflate-ables in the yard...
while they look great at night when lit up and erect, they are only blobs of parachute material during the day.. While adults understand these are temporary, and walk past , it still detracts from the curb appeal, and it is really difficult to show a home when a toddler is crying because Santa, Olaf or another character lay dead on the front yard!
Staging the exterior is always important as its the first and last thing the potential buyers see.
Sorry Santa, you really need to wait to until you move to your new home !
