A Painting - Pepsi Truck & Hot Diggity Dogs,
"Before and After"

As an artist, I am always looking at things differently than most. I have painted several nostalgic businesses around the country. This painting is a combination of two photos. The building, Hot Diggity Dogs, on Ohio Street, in Chicago and a pepsi truck I saw at Navy Pier. This was one of my early paintings, so the photo of the painting is a bit discolored.

I have been asked on occasion how I was able to create my paintings. This series shows the actual place and the final painting to show the comparison. Most of the paintings were made from, as many as 12 photographs taken from different angles, as well as closeup shots. These are the before and after shots.
