Speechless Sunday - Ahh...Palm Springs

Although I wasn't able to see a lot of Palm Springs while visiting due to my week being packed with classes and meetings last month, I was able to enjoy the incredible views a few minutes each day!  Now, I'm yearning for that warm, tropical climate as it is now in the 40's here in Charlotte!

What I love about this view is that you not only have the lagoon with the beautiful Flamingos (which you can barely see in the distance) but, the palm trees, the golf course and the mountains in the distance, all framed by a perfectly blue sky without a single cloud!

Hi Debe, my Co had a gathering in Palm Spring a month or so ago. I had clients that were a bit needy so I could not participate... it was an award type retreat and what I heard was that the Dinner was supposed to be outside but then they were expecting a torrential downpour:)) so they scrambled to move it indoors. So you did not experience that?:))Endre

Debe, what a beautiful photo!  I haven't been to Palm Springs for many years, and just remember it being beautiful with perfect weather.

Oh, it was perfect 'spring' weather a few weeks ago when I was there so, I missed the heat of the summer, Myrl Jeffcoat!  I'm not a fan of that so, I'll be sure not to return during July!

Oh, I hate you didn't get to go, Endre Barath, Jr.!  We didn't have a drop of rain the entire week I was there - at least not while I was not in class!  It was absolutely beautiful every day!  And, we had dinner outdoors a couple of evenings.
