Ok, I admit I'm not very good about this whole blogging thing. I got really busy last year and the whole thing sort of fell by the wayside (I do have a bit of an excuse though - more on that later).

I picked up a new client just a month back and I was curious about how she found me as I do almost all my business by referral. "Active Rain" she told me.

Oh...riiiiight, Active Rain! *smacks own forehead*

However, don't be too hard on me, I've been a tad distracted:

  • We welcomed the birth of our newest family member (sleep? what's that?)
  • We remodeled a new, larger office for me (my gear was starting to stack up everywhere)
  • Around the time I fell off of blogging I also fell off a faulty ladder, ten feet to a marble floor while shooting at a construction site, I badly injured both legs (all better now though).
  • I grew the commercial architecture side of my business to almost 50% of revenue.
  • I totally redesigned my website / branding

Anyway, enough making excuses. My hope is to step back into an active role in this friendly and helpful community. :)

I wanted to share with the group some recent images from my work with the Seattle Aquarium.

I've loved the aquaruim since I was a child, it was so much fun getting to work with them. I'm about 2/3 done with their images, I've got most of their interior shots done as well as their catering / event work. I just need to round up some sunny shots of their open air areas.

If you want to see more than just the sample images here; visit my projects section:

Bryce!!!!  The prodigal son returns.  So glad you're back.  Congrats on the new member of the Mohan clan.  I'm still struggling with photography, some things never change.  Love the pics of the aquarium and can't wait to see more of your pictures.

Cheryl, Maureen...thanks very much! It's good to be back.

I'm a little embarrassed I've been away so long! I just got so wrapped up in various things blogging went by the wayside. :)

Cheers, -B

Bryce,

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures.  You really captured the beauty of the aquarium and as for the marketing purposes you have me sold.  Whenever I get to the Seattle area, I will be sure to check it out!

Marchel, thanks very much (interesting first name by the way).

Michelle, thank you...I love it there...they were kind enough to also give me a family membership when I finished with the first set of images. The kids really enjoy it!

Terrie, thanks, your compliments are appreciated. :)
