Ok, I admit I'm not very good about this whole blogging thing. I got really busy last year and the whole thing sort of fell by the wayside (I do have a bit of an excuse though - more on that later).
I picked up a new client just a month back and I was curious about how she found me as I do almost all my business by referral. "Active Rain" she told me.
Oh...riiiiight, Active Rain! *smacks own forehead*
However, don't be too hard on me, I've been a tad distracted:
- We welcomed the birth of our newest family member (sleep? what's that?)
- We remodeled a new, larger office for me (my gear was starting to stack up everywhere)
- Around the time I fell off of blogging I also fell off a faulty ladder, ten feet to a marble floor while shooting at a construction site, I badly injured both legs (all better now though).
- I grew the commercial architecture side of my business to almost 50% of revenue.
- I totally redesigned my website / branding
Anyway, enough making excuses. My hope is to step back into an active role in this friendly and helpful community. :)
I wanted to share with the group some recent images from my work with the Seattle Aquarium.
I've loved the aquaruim since I was a child, it was so much fun getting to work with them. I'm about 2/3 done with their images, I've got most of their interior shots done as well as their catering / event work. I just need to round up some sunny shots of their open air areas.
If you want to see more than just the sample images here; visit my projects section:
