Our concierge in Rome told us we had to have lunch in Spoleto, Umbria, at Ristorante Apollinare. It has even been Michelin rated. Following Siri's directions, we could not find the destination on the left which was a thick wall and the museum of antiquity next to it.
So we drove up to the square above the wall, and Siri would direct us back to the wall. After 3 times, we parked and decided to ask the hotel nearby. They sent us walking up the square and down a narrow street. That little blue flag is above the entrance of where they are located.
It was definitely worth the trek. We had pasta with fresh white truffles, and wild boar pictured above. The service was superb. And then, we were off to Norcia for our next adventure.
