So, where is the Best Little Pie Shop In University Heights, San Diego?
It's on the corner of Meade Ave. & Park Blvd. in University Heights.
Pop Pie Company is a "fast-casual" dining location with some of the tastiest homemade meat, vegetarian, vegan and sweet pies made from healthy ingredients. They also are great at rotating their menu. There are some old favorites you can count on, but it's fun to pop-by Pop Pie Co and see what's new on the menu too!
I love popping by Pop Pie Co for locally roasted coffee and The Boss, which is a breakfast pie loaded with eggs, red potatoes , bacon, cheese and more! But they have great lunch/dinner pies too and local craft beer on tap to sip them down with! Oh, and amzing fresh lemonade & machatas.
This place is great for a simple pleasure bite to eat & coffee or if your on the go like me, use their speedy take out service. There is typically a line out the door here at peak meal hours so go with that in mind if you are on a break or lunch hour; it's worth the wait!
University Heights is an amazing neighborhood of San Diego's Metro Area, which is all the neighborhoods surrounding Balboa Park. Lot's of small businesses, cafe's and specialty shops like Pop Pie Co. to make your walking tour fun and delicious! University Heights is one of my favorite San Diego neighborhoods as a visitor and a Realtor (because there are some amazing 1900-1950's craftsman & CA Bungalow homes here with amazing architecture!
