I think that this is such a great website for Realtors and just invited about 300 of my friends to join
ActiveRain.
You have taught me so much and I enjoy reading the ideas of others. It is my hopes that the agents that I have invited to join us with learn from us and to share their responses,
Hopefully some of these good folks that I have invited to join will share good and positive
thoughts also.

I have invited people I know and have talked to about joining, but not just everyone. I think if people don't have some understanding about what blogging is all about, as well as how the community works and can benefit them, and show some level of interest, then an invite probably isn't all that meaningful. It's a wonderful place to be and can benefit in so many ways, but there's no real value to just filling out a modest profile and then doing nothing, as many do, because there is no commitment or real interest.

Ginger, Yes, I have invited others. A few joined and then did nothing. Most just ignore the request. People just don't know what they are missing. 
I have invited others but not many have taken me up on the offer - "you can lead a horse to water" ...
I do invite others but rarely do they accept. I think the ones who do not accept do not see the value!
By the time I joined ActiveRain, almost all my agent friends had already joined. They had asked each other, before they invited me!
I think it's great that you have invited people to join ActiveRain. I've invited several before they actually joined and have no idea if I was responsible or someone else. But I'm glad they joined. It's a great resource for all of us! And we learn so much more together!
