Beth Atalay - Oh! Thank you! I think the first one would make a great painting. It really caught my eye today! If only, I could paint....

Patricia, I would not want to use either of those stairs ... yet they do make fun photos. The first one ... might collapse when I stand on it ... and the second one ... a little leery of where they lead to

Kathleen Daniels - But isn't it fun to look at!!! I don't even know if the door is locked or not but it sure makes an interesting photograph! It reminded me of something I saw in Italy. But I took the photos today while I was in McKinney, Texas.
For the stairs in that first photo they should have included a can of paint and a brush
This doesn't look like these were taken in texas so where were you when you shot them?

Good Morning, Joe Pryor - Actually I took the pictures yesterday in McKinney, Texas in the historical district. They have lots of cool old buildings and the shops are very unique and fun to shop in too!
Patricia, these are great photos and it makes me wonder what these stairs have seen over the years. I have a feeling they have a lot of stories to tell!
Good morning Patricia. These are great pictures and I enjoy the quirky too.
A photo can speak a thousand words (or more)... these speak volumes of lives that have passed up or down. They seem so real like they were hand drawn rather than photographed. Thank you for sharing -
They are a little quirky, Patricia. The old metal steps in the top photo don't really match the building. I could see something done differently, to create a really nice entrance there!
Patricia, where did you take these? The top one looks like a stage door on Broadway! But something tells me these are on a different continent.
