Brad Andersohn's Here : Should I Take Him to Elvis' House ?

Brad called me a few minutes ago.

His plane just arrived.

He's in town for the Active Rain Seminar in Dyersburg, Tennessee tomorrow, sponsored by our friend, Mike Frazier.

Brad and I are gonna hang out together tomorrow and I want to take him to see Elvis' house before he heads home.

Elvis' favorite snack was a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich and Graceland serves them in the restaurant.

Brad shouldn't leave Memphis without trying one !

Don't you think? pb

It's awesome ! Wouldn't you like one, too ? :-) Or is it possible that Brad won't want to have anything else to do with me after trying one those sandwiches, and I could be banned from Active Rain for life? Help !

Update: We made it to Elvis' house but didn't have time for the peanut butter and banana sandwich because of Brad's flight schedule. Might not have faired well on the plane anyway on top of the lunch. Those bananas and mayo might put the hurtin' on you at 45 thousand feet. :-). Wish we could have hung out in Elvis' Jungle Room for a few ! Next time, for sure, Brad ! Come on back, my friend ! Memphis is a better place because you were here !

David - I can't wait to sink my teeth into one of those delectable sandwiches.  I am honored my friend.  To just be in the presence of Elvis's spirit and where he once called home is just too surreal.  I have to focus, I have a class to teach, you're killing me here!  Don't stop, don't stop.

It was great talking to you tonight, I am really looking forward to tomorrow.  It will be one of those days to be remembered for a lifetime.

I am so honored and blessed by all of your kindness and hospitality.  Hopefully, I can repay a small portion back by giving the "Active Brad Brain Dump" in the morning. Haha!!  Thanks again my friend.  I can't wait to hear some of the stories you have, I'd be privileged to have you share.

Tennessee, my new found friends and home away from home.  :-)

David - thanks for everything my friend!  I have to come back and have one of them there fried wiches with you someday.  You really made an impression on me by all you did for me while I was there.  You are a good man and a great friend! I am putting together a post that shares our "Post Class" experience.  The trip back to the car rental, Elvis' mansion, and the airport is one I won't ever forget.  Ya all really made me feel at home and welcomed, and I look forward to my return one day soon.

BTW - Thank you so much for the Cowboy Hat, I wore it all the way home and still have it on now.  :-)))

Always welcome at Graceland, Todd. Nice to know the spirit of 'Big E' graces your home. I'm all shook up. :-) When in Memphis, I'll make it a priority to show you the King's palace.
